Occupied Palestine | فلسطين

[ PIC 31/05/2012 – 09:37 AM ]

AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Fawar refugee camp at dawn Thursday and arrested 22-year-old student Sayyaf Abu Tuaima, eyewitnesses said.

They said that the soldiers encircled the home of the student then took him away without saying whereto.

Sayyaf, a studentof the Palestine Polytechnic, was recently held in PA preventive security for two days during which he was savagely tortured for participating in a march celebrating victory of prisoners in their “dignity” hunger strike and marking the Nakba.

Sayyaf is the elder son of Kamal Abu Tuaima who died in a brain stroke while in preventive security custody three years ago.

Other IOF units burst into the city of Jenin and its refugee camp at dawn Thursday amidst random firing of live bullets.

Local sources said that the IOF pre-dawn incursion led to confrontations with refugees in the camp.
