The demonstration near the Bitunia checkpoint, located in close proximity to the Ofer military prison, has been taking place for last couple of hours. Participants note that today it is not as well attended as those held last week. The IOF is attempting to disperse protesters with a hail of rubber coated steel bullets and tear gas.
Update: one photojournalist and one protester were injured from rubber coated steel bullets. The former was treated by medical personnel in the field, while the latter was transferred to hospital for treatment.
