In Hebron, the IOF arrested Mahmoud Ishaq Abu Hashhash, a university student, in his home in Dura, southwest of Hebron. Abu Hashhash had already spent 18 months in the occupation prison on charges of belonging to the Islamic Jihad. In Halhoul, the IOF arrested Yusuf Muhammad Abu Diyeh who had just returned from a visit to Jordan.
In Idhna, west of Hebron, the IOF conducted a thorough search in the home of Muhammad Musa al-Tamizi. The Israeli army also set up several checkpoints in the area, including Fuwar, Idhna Halhoul, Beit ‘Awa and Kharsa.
In the Jenin area, the IOF erected a checkpoint leading to the city (between Beit Qad and Jenin), thus detaining and inhibiting the movement of vehicles and people on their way to their places of employment and schools.
In the village of al-Ram (north of Jerusalem), the IOF arrested Jihad and Hamza Ramiyeh during a raid in several houses.
