( Summary- This wednsday 6/03/2013 a group of Balad (A tajamoua) activists held a peaceful demonstration in support of the political prisoners of Palestinian prisoners at Har Hatzofim, hebrew university campus, Jerusalem. After the protest ended, the police assaulted and arrested 3 of the protests’ leader. The arrestees were released the day after with no charges
Bet Safafa Facebook page reports that residents of Bet Safafa protested against the planned route of road number 4 at Dov Hoz street, east Jerusalem today. The protest was pre- coordinated earlier with the Police. Despite that, police cavalry were deployed to disperse the protest, chased the protesters and injured 3 of them. Undercover policemen disguised as protesters were spotted in the crowd attempting to provoke the protesters. 8 protesters were arrested while standing on the pavement of them 1 is a minor. The people of Bet Safafa are currently protesting in front of Moriyah police station, Talpiot. Bet Safafa FB page updated that the minor has been released.

7 Protesters from Bet Safafa are still held in custody. There will be a court discussion today regarding the extension of their arrest. The people of Bet Safafa call on solidarity protest vigil in front of court. Accurate time and location to be announced later.
Manal Da’na was arrested almost two weeks ago in suspicion of attempting to stab an Israeli soldier. The court extended her detention until 22 October. Da’na, 32, is a resident of Silwan and a mother of two.
According to Israeli channel 10, the IOF arrested one man in Beita al-Tahta (southeast of Nablus) while the other was arrested in Shuyukh (southwest of Bethlehem). Both men were considered “wanted” by the occupation forces and they were transferred to unknown locations for interrogation.
UPDATE: IOF arrested Madhat Zidan Jaradat (20) at his village of Sa’ir east of Hebron. In addition, the IOF raided the town of Halhoul overnight.

15 years old Suhaib al-A’awar from Silwan was arrested two weeks ago in the pretense of violating the terms of his house arrest. He was picked up by Israeli police on his way back from school.
Israeli court just extended his arrest by two more weeks.
The IOF arrested Mujahed Muhammad Jaradat from Silat al-Harthiya while he was in Barta’a al-Sharqiyeh, south of Jenin. The soldiers invaded the town, insulted local women and also used racial slurs towards Muslims.
In the village of ‘Azoun east of Qalqilia, the IOF arrested Ya’qub Ghazi ‘Ali Suwidan (22) and Muhammad Zaharan Ibrahim Suwidan (20).
In Beit Ummar just north of Hebron, the IOF arrested Hamza Ahmed Abu Hashem (14) and Sabri Ibrahim ‘Awad (17). Three more people were arrested in Beit ‘Awa.
In the Hebron area, the IOF raided and set up roadblocks in several villages and towns: Beit ‘Aynun, Beit Kahil, Yata, Dura, Sa’ir, Beit Ummar, Samu’, Idhna and several neighbourhoods within the city of Hebron itself.
